For the most part- YES! We do buy the wooden wheels for our cameras and cars and wooden beads used for our garland and beaded ornaments. If you’re wondering if we made something please feel free to ask. Our aim is to be transparent in all aspects of our process.
We seal our cheeseboards, concrete bowls, and utensils with food-safe beeswax and/or concrete sealer. We rarely stain but will note it in our descriptions if we do. Anything painted is sprayed with acrylic sealer that is not food-safe.
This is probably for a few reasons, but the main one is as a new collective of two mamas creating during nap time and in the evenings we have limited time to build up our stock. We often will make one or two pieces and then post them. We want to see what people like before we make too many of the same thing and waste materials.
We are still figuring this out but have noticed longer shipping times around holidays. It takes up to 5 business days to create and then allow 7-10 days for shipping.
Sometimes we are inspired watching our kids play or by being in nature. Creative friends and family members often make suggestions. DIY ideas on Pinterest and online shopping have also spurred us to create.
Yes, sometimes we only find one piece of wood or buy only one set of handles. We can often replicate a design that we have previously made but color, texture, and wood type may differ.
It really depends on the item and quantity. The best thing to do is direct message us on social media or send us an email. We can talk about your order and give a more accurate idea of the time needed. For Christmas ornament orders, bulk orders will need to be in by Halloween (10/31).
We don’t at this time, but it is definitely something we are open to and hope for in the future! If you have any suggestions send them our way!
We haven’t totally crossed it off as a possibility in the future, but since we plan on doing more popups Square works best for us, plus we have this snazzy new website!
Some of our items (i.e. concrete planters) are extremely heavy and/or bulky, and we have not figured out a cost-efficient way of mailing them.
We are definitely open to custom orders. Certain wood (type and size) can be difficult to acquire quickly, but with enough time and detail we would definitely consider working on a custom order. The best way to get the process started would be to direct message us on social media or send us an email.
All of our toys come with disclaimers. Our toys are handmade, and while we use strong materials to build our Little Ones collection, some parts that are potential choking hazards, are attached with only wood glue. We are mamas ourselves and know that even durable toys break.
First off, we are so sorry this has happened. Please contact us through social media or by email right away, and we will refund you and send you another item asap. You can choose thousands of others to purchase from, and we are so appreciative that you invested your money and time in us.
